

The Shalhoub Trading Company of Jaramana, Damascus, Syria was founded 80 years ago by the late Georges Shalhoub of Hama, Syria and his sons.
Recently we establish our new factory in USA , and we are specialized in wood, stone , mosaic and glass .
The family business is now run by the grandson of the gate Georges Shalhoub, Mr. Soleiman Abdul-Massih Shalhoub, who is the current president and CEO of Shalhoub Trading Company. Specializing in construction, stone masonry, wood caving, and design basic.
Shalhoub Trading Company brings back the ancient beauty of buildings as they were once constructed.

Historical Profile of Shalhoub Est.
Georges Abdo Shalhoub was born in Hama - Syria in 1914. In 1946, he established Shalhoub Est. His work consisted of engraving all kinds of local marble, foreign marble, and natural stone.
He also was responsible for the execution of many archeological historical projects in Syria and many neighboring countries such as Lebanon ,Iran and Iraq. Works such as the building of Hama O'clock (1954),the old phone building and the Justice Palace in the City of Hama won Jorji Shalhoub the title of the professional first chief in stone.
In Iran, he supervised and executed the Tehran bridge, in Lebanon, he executed the building of the O'clock and bell dome for Cross Monastery, in Jonia, Lebanon, he participated in erecting the church and bell dome, in Hasron, he built AlEzarieh Monastery, and in Tripoli, Lebanon, he built a Mosque.
His sons Abdo, Fouad, and Mkhail Shalhoub joined their father Jorji in execution of many projects mentioned above and executed many archeological historical projects of which:
- Zahleh City Hall (1950)
- Statue of Jesus Christ in Beriut, Lebanon (1964)
- Tripoli Customs Building
- Cross Monastery Building
- Al Ksalik Monastery Building
- Al Mamlok Monastery Building in Mohardeh with its Church
Today, after fifty years of successful works his grandson soliman Shalhoub continues his grandfather's legacy. He has made a name for himself in executing archeological historical work, of which the most important works are:
He participated in restoration of the Al Balamand monastery in Lebanon (2000).
He also participated in restoration of the St. Georgious monastery in Humara - Homs / Syria (on 1988).
He is responsible for executing the alter wall front of St.Mary's Orthodox Basilica in Livonia, Michigan, USA (2002) St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox church.
